1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the PixKit mobile app, its system sharing extensions, and this website, provided by PinFong Limited. Specific system features may differ by platform.
2. Photo and file processing
Photos you select, their file names, thumbnails, converted images, and ZIP files are processed locally on your device. PixKit does not upload this content to PinFong servers.
Working files are stored in the app or extension’s temporary directory and are removed when you reset a task, when the system clears temporary storage, or after the cleanup period. Files you intentionally save or share are then managed by the chosen app or location.
3. Photo access
PixKit uses the photo-selection capabilities provided by your operating system, receives only the photos you explicitly select, and follows each platform’s recommended access and permission model.
4. Photo metadata
Photos may contain location, capture time, device model, keywords, and other metadata. PixKit does not upload this information. You may choose to remove location and common capture details from exported images.
5. Sharing files
An exported ZIP is handed to another app, service, or storage location only after you select a destination in the system share menu. Its later handling is governed by the recipient’s own privacy policy.
6. Version checks
After launch, PixKit asynchronously contacts PinFong’s first-party version service. It sends only the platform, app version, build number, and distribution channel to determine whether an update is available.
The service does not retain IP addresses or request logs, use a persistent device identifier, build user profiles, or use the request for advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking. A failed version check never prevents you from using PixKit.
7. Local preferences
Preferences such as language, file-name prefix, and export options are stored on your device so PixKit can restore your choices. Uninstalling the app normally removes these settings.
8. Third parties and data sales
PixKit contains no advertising SDK, third-party analytics SDK, account system, or cloud storage, and does not sell or rent personal information. Components used to create ZIP files participate only in local file processing.
9. Children’s privacy
PixKit does not require an account or create age-based profiles. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information. A parent or guardian may contact us with any concern.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when product features or information practices change. We will revise the effective date and provide an appropriate notice in the app or on this site for material changes.
